It is with profound sadness, that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend, Romie L. Cantley, Jr. Having gratitude for a life filled with many blessings, Romie was born on April 6, 1948 and died on April 4, 2024. Romie attended New Haven and West Haven Public Schools, after which he entered Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated with Bachelors and Masters Degrees. He is also survived by his four great-nephews, Cooper, Spencer, Tucker and Hudson, whom have brought great joys to his final years. Romie is predeceased by his parents Romie L. & Ruth (nee Slater) Cantley Sr. A special thanks to the caring staff at Midstate Medical Center, and his companions Marina and Greg.
